The home has been in the owner’s family for a long while and he wanted to modernise the looks of the home while keeping the original feel of the shophouse. After all, he grew up there. We advised him to go with two different lime washes, one to emulate the original bare concrete wall, while the other was a marble style lime wash to create an elegant effect. Along with newer minimalist Nordic style furniture, his shophouse has been updated to match our modern times while retaining the feel and nostalgia of the times gone by.
Having lived in their home for the better part of a decade, the interior of this detached home looked more than a little dated. The homeowners wanted to update the interior of their home to something more modern without completely gutting the frames of the home. As we were working with a stricter timeframe, we advised the homeowner on a natural lime wash wall to complement the flooring already in place. Changing the looks of the doors to a wooden one, and adding an internal wooden frame shade for the family room, our homeowner achieved the looks that they wanted.
We worked with the homeowners’ interior designers (IDs) to create a feature wall for the study room in this Queenstown 3 bedroom condo. The study room, originally the 3rd bedroom in the condo, was repurposed by the homeowner as a place for him to take meetings and work from home. He wanted a nice background as he took on video calls often. We used a textured navy blue stucco paint that mimicked the look of an ancient Roman villa with a contemporary twist. Paired with the solid wood furnishings that the homeowner selected, the study room gave a feel of soothing luxury.

Our vision was to recreate a slice of the walls of Sacsayhuamánm, an ancient Peruvian castle in our living room and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. It was as if they stole a wall and teleported it into our home!
All jokes aside, my hubby and I were really amazed by our home transformation at the hands of Asiance Effects. David, our Project manager was able to bring our vision to life with his team of artistic workers. Special shout out to the supervisor Myo and his team, they took pride in their work and it was evident in the results. Not to mention they were always punctual and polite, while being careful in their work.
Our family and friends were full of compliments when they visited. Highly recommended to give them a try!

Initially I thought that pasting wallpaper was the only way to get the effects I wanted, until I saw that AE could do what I wanted with a more permanent solution.
The results were great and looked very natural. I especially loved how the vibe of our study room changed with different lighting. By day, it was professional enough for video calls, but by night, it was a cosy place to snuggle and watch movies with my wife.
